You Have Questions, I Have Answers
What do you charge for your services?
This question has a complex answer. Most people only see the time spent taking the pictures but most times there is much more time involved with a photography session. There is often more time spent editing pictures than taking pictures. Why? Editing is where the story is told. A great photographer can ruin great shots with poor edits. Sometimes there is time spent surveying a job location prior to a photography session. Its best just to contact me and we can discuss options and what works best for you. To give you an estimate, the sitting fee for a one hour portrait session would start at $125. Prints would then be available for purchase at the customers convenience. Some high resolution digital files would be provided and the rest would be available with a personal use license at an additional cost.
Would you be willing to try something different for my photography session?
Yes, of course. I would love to hear your ideas. As long as it is safe, let's give it a try. You don't want your photos to look like everyone else's, right?
How to I book my sessions and how far in advance do I need to book?
The easiest way to contact me is via the Contact page HERE. Certain times of the year are busier than others so its best to book at least a month away from the date you are requesting.
What type of photography do you prefer?
I like to take pictures of anything but I have found that I enjoy sports the most. I enjoy the excitement a person gets when looking at their pictures during a sporting event. Landscapes come in as a close second. Then portraits as those can be very fun.
Do you travel for photography work?
Simple answer, No. I am just starting out so for now, I only take work that is local. What is local? If you know me personally or are a referral, more than likely you live close enough.
Would you consider wedding photography?
A few years ago i would have told you no but today i am in a different place professionally. Weddings are not something i do regularly but i would be more than happy to discuss a wedding package that would work for all of us.
What type of camera equipment do you shoot with?
I use a Nikon D750. I am not a Nikon snob. I purchased this camera as it was the camera that fit my needs at the time I made the purchase. My lenses are a Nikon 24-120mm f4 and Nikon 50mm f1.8. I also own a Tamron 24-70 f2.8, a Tamron 70-200 f2.8 and a Sigma 20-300 f2.8.
I noticed on your social media pages your username was @imprintweb what is this?
In 2011, I started a website design and development business called Imprint Web Design. Today, this business caters to small and mid sized business'. At that time I created social media pages for that business. When Richard O'Donnell Photography was launched, I didn't to have two separate social media accounts so i kept @imprintweb for Richard O'Donnell Photography.
